Just a few Bloomsbury books we love

Here are a few of our recent and all-time favourite titles published by our pals at Bloomsbury Publishing. These are always available here and in our shop in Bath. We like them so much we’ll keep them on here so our customers can enjoy reading them whenever they choose.

In fact we asked Bloomsbury for a big box of cookies in exchange for selling their books, but when they refused, we just didn’t have the heart to withdraw the books from sale until they agreed to our demands, so we just kept on selling them, albeit a little hungrier.

I guess we’d feel differently if the entire trading landscape was skewed in our favour. If that were the case we’d probably stop selling these mini-masterpieces of every genre until our cookies arrived, and just sell other books instead, or anything else you can imagine, until Bloomsbury had no choice but to pony up the snacks.

But – like every high street bookshop – we believe in supporting authors, books, publishers and readers without compromise. So we’ll just keep recommending Bloomsbury’s books alongside all the others – without interruption.
