You may have come across Tim Gautreaux via Mr B’s before – his novel “The Missing” is our best-selling book ever. So we’re thrilled to reissue Gautreaux’s 1998 debut novel, “The Next Step in the Dance” – a dramatic emotional story that shares “The Missing”’s marshy Louisiana setting.

Tiger Island is home to Paul, a contented machinist with killer dance moves and Colette his ambitious, outspoken wife.
