The Tiffany Aching Discworld Series with amazing cover illustrations by Laura Ellen Anderson

If you’ve been browsing our ‘Discworld Collector’s Library’ lists, you may have noticed that the Tiffany Aching series isn’t available in the ‘Collector’s Library’ hardback editions; but fear not, because the entire series is available with amazing cover illustrations from one of our favourite illustrators, Laura Ellen Anderson (currently resident in our Illustrator’s Corner).

Terry Pratchett didn’t talk down to younger readers, and to my mind the character of young witch Tiffany is Pratchett’s finest creation. The final book in the series, ‘The Shepherd’s Crown’, was Pratchett’s final novel, and what a testament it is to this writer and his imagination and empathy. These books are full of humour and adventure, and Tiffany’s no-nonsense, practical way of dealing with life’s challenges is wonderfully inspiring. Remember some of the mottos of the Discworld witches: Always face what you fear. Even if it’s not your fault, it’s your responsibility. And never cackle.
