Pulitzer Prize Fiction Winner 2021: Louise Erdrich

We were absolutely delighted to hear the news of author Louise Erdrich winning this year’s Pulitzer Prize for Fiction for her latest novel ‘The Night Watchman’! Having read many of Erdrich’s novels over the years myself, and recommending countless copies of particular favourites ‘The Round House’ and ‘Love Medicine’ since I joined Mr B’s all those years ago, I thought I’d share a list with you all of some of Erdrich’s most treasured novels.

For anyone yet to discover Louise Erdrich, she is the author of sixteen novels, volumes of poetry, children’s books, and a memoir. Her fiction has won the National Book Award, the National Book Critics Circle Award (twice), and has been a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. She is a member of the Turtle Mountain band of Chippewa and the owner of Birchbark Books, a small independent bookstore in Minnesota.
