Praise for Soup for Good

“If you love soup as much as I do, this is the only book you will ever need.” Stanley Tucci

“To offer a bowl or mug of soup to someone is an act of cosiness and connection. And that is what Cook for Good offers, with this book and every day.” Nigella Lawson

From the back cover

When a Cook for Good team member shared a flask of homemade soup with a volunteer at their community Pantry in London’s King’s Cross, it was the start of something special. Before long, the team had established a weekly soup cafe and fuelled an obsession with soup that spread across the whole community.

Soup for Good shares our community’s favourite recipes and tells the stories of some of its much-loved characters. With a foreword by Nigella, this beautifully illustrated book includes soups donated by our food-loving supporters, including former Prime Minster, Gordon Brown, Ed Balls, Karan Gokani, and Nigella herself, along with the food businesses who have helped us on our way.

Soup for Good is a celebration of soup and community, and the perfect expression of the power of cooking to change lives and bring people together.
