Paperback Ramblers: Writers in the City of Bath

This list contains the suggested reading for our Paperback Ramblers walking book group meeting on Tuesday 24th May 2022. I’ll be reading ‘The Walker’ by Matthew Beaumont, a combination of literary criticism and social history, for some general thoughts on writers and thinkers and their interactions with the built landscape. Beyond that, the walk will take us past the Bath residences of lots of authors, so any reading of their books is appropriate. Where books are available by the author in question I have selected a couple and included them below in the order in which we’ll be passing by their residences.
