The Collected Toppi Vol. 2

Mr B's review
Nothing but the hard copy of Sergio Toppi’s work can do justice to his artistry. Amalgamating black and white ink drawings with coloured sequential art, this is a collection of short stories perfect for people who have loved subject matter such as Joe Sacco’s ‘Paying the Land’, the reverential language of Gaiman’s ‘Sandman’, or just some straight up phenomenal artwork with some gut punch stories. Beautifully produced with rounded hardback edges and illustrated end pages, this is also one of those perfect gift graphic novels.
