What I’ve Been Reading Recently – Laura’s February 2021 List

My latest reading has been mostly short in form or involved a detective or two – not untypical. A non-fiction highlight was The Gendered Brain, a thorough look at what research into differences in male and female brains has or hasn’t turned up since research into this area began, and proposing that perhaps it’s time this question of dichotomy itself were shelved going forward. I’m currently listening to the brilliant audio version of wife and husband team Ambrose Parry’s The Way of All Flesh and already can’t wait to get my hands on the second in this historical crime series set in Edinburgh, The Art of Dying, out in paperback just last month.
