Events and Book Groups at Mr B's

Here at Mr B's we hold events with a difference. Each of our literary evenings features an author whose books have already been read and loved by one or more of our team and whose books we think you're going to love too.

Our events take place at Mr B's and other venues across the city. Many include wine and a delicious buffet dinner prepared by one of our local foodie company friends. We like to interview guest authors and give you lots of time to ask questions too - making for welcoming, fun evenings that are crammed with insights, opinion and conversation.

We also host five free book groups in and around the shop (and our local pub), including two general reading groups, a sci-fi/fantasy group, our Paperback Ramblers walking book club and our "Support Group" for those seeking companionship as they tackle some of the trickier (and longer) works of literature.
