Paperback Ramblers with Kate Hamer
Sun 12 May 2019
2:30pm at Mr B's Emporium of Reading Delights
We’re excited to announce a new season of Paperback Ramblers meetings! The Paperback Ramblers is our famous walking book group, which enjoys a stroll and a literary chat on a Sunday afternoon, often with a café or pub along the way.
Kicking off the new season, we’ve got special guest author Kate Hamer joining us for a walk on Sunday 12th May. She is the author of the acclaimed novels The Girl in the Red Coat and The Doll Funeral, and the upcoming Crushed (published in hardback on 2nd May) which is set in Bath. The walk will feature readings and locations from Crushed, and you’ll have the opportunity to chat to Kate and ask questions about her work.
It’s completely free to come on the walk, please just fill in the form on this page to let us know you’re coming. You can pick up Kate’s books including Crushed at a 10% discount from Mr B’s Emporium of Reading Delights online or in the shop. Kate will be signing books in the shop from 2:30pm, and the walk will begin at 3pm. The walk will last around an hour and a half, and we’ll finish somewhere for a drink by 5pm.
If you’ve got any questions, do get in touch with Sam at Mr B’s Emporium.
Another Paperback Ramblers meeting is scheduled for Sunday 23rd June, so do get that date in your diary and keep an eye out for more details!
